About Mrs. Everett
Meet Laycee Gwyther
Some people know me as a business owner. Some know me as a speaker, mentor, or community leader. Others know me as the woman behind Executive Beauty Suites, Beauty and the Boss Consulting, or now, Mrs Everett 2027.
Before any title, business, or accomplishment, I was simply a young woman searching for confidence, direction, and purpose.
My journey has not always been easy. Like many people, I have faced adversity, disappointment, self-doubt, and moments where the future felt uncertain. Those experiences taught me some of life's most valuable lessons: resilience, perseverance, leadership, and the importance of believing in yourself long before the results show up.
Today, I have dedicated my life to helping others discover what is possible for themselves.
Building Businesses That Create Opportunity
At 19 years old, I began my journey in the beauty industry as a cosmetologist. What started behind the chair eventually grew into a passion for entrepreneurship, leadership, and helping others build successful businesses of their own.
That passion led me to create Executive Beauty Suites, a salon suite company designed to give beauty professionals the opportunity to own and operate their own businesses in a supportive and empowering environment.
What began as a single vision has grown into multiple locations across two states, serving dozens of beauty professionals while helping them create independence, financial freedom, and careers they love.
As the company expanded, so did my desire to help entrepreneurs beyond the beauty industry. That vision became Beauty and the Boss Consulting, where I coach business owners on leadership, systems, automation, marketing, profitability, and personal development.
Whether someone is launching their first business or scaling an established company, my goal remains the same: help people build businesses that support the life they want to live.
Leadership Beyond Business
While I love entrepreneurship, my greatest passion has always been people.
Throughout the years, I have had the privilege of speaking to women, students, athletes, young adults, business owners, nonprofit organizations, and community groups throughout Washington State and beyond.
I believe leadership is not about position, status, or authority. Leadership is about influence. It is about showing up, serving others, setting an example, and creating opportunities for people to believe in themselves.
My work has allowed me to partner with schools, youth programs, nonprofit organizations, women's groups, and leadership initiatives that focus on confidence, personal growth, resilience, communication, and purpose.
Few things bring me more joy than watching someone discover their own potential.
Investing in the Next Generation
One of the areas closest to my heart is youth leadership development.
I have had the opportunity to mentor student athletes, scholarship recipients, young entrepreneurs, and youth leaders through various programs and organizations. Through speaking engagements, leadership workshops, camps, and mentorship opportunities, I strive to help young people develop the confidence, character, and mindset needed to navigate life's challenges.
I believe the future of our communities depends on the leaders we are developing today.
Every young person deserves someone who believes in them before they fully believe in themselves.
Why Mrs Everett?
The Mrs Everett journey is about so much more than a crown.
It is an opportunity to amplify a mission that has guided my life for years: helping people recognize their worth, embrace their potential, and create meaningful impact in their communities.
Through community involvement, speaking engagements, volunteer efforts, and initiatives like The Post-It Project, my goal is to spread encouragement, connection, confidence, and hope throughout Everett and beyond.
I believe small acts of kindness can change lives.
I believe leadership starts with service.
I believe every person has a story worth sharing and a purpose worth pursuing.
Most importantly, I believe that our greatest impact comes from helping others rise.
My Leadership Philosophy
My leadership philosophy is simple:
Lead with integrity. Serve with purpose. Build with intention. Leave people better than you found them.
Leadership is not about being the loudest voice in the room. It is about creating environments where others can thrive.
I strive to lead with authenticity, compassion, accountability, and action. Whether I am working with business owners, youth, community leaders, or organizations, my focus is always on creating meaningful and lasting impact.

This journey is still being written, and I am grateful to have you here as part of it.
Together, let's build something meaningful.
